When can you expect your galleries to be delivered?
Typically I deliver your portrait photos within 1-3 weeks of the session date. Wedding galleries are delivered within 3-10 weeks depending on the event schedule, season and if you've added film photography to your session.

How many photos should I expect?
Every client will receive all of the images professionally retouched and colour corrected. I will never hold your memories back. The only images that are deleted are repeats or unflattering photos. Most portrait sessions will have roughly 40-70 images. Wedding galleries range quite substantially depending on the length of coverage, details and what is planned for the day. You will receive approximately between 50-80 images per hour in your final wedding gallery.

How do I know the best time to plan for photos on my wedding day? Do you help with timeline preparations?
I absolutely love helping you with your photography timeline. I regularly work with couples and planners when collaborating the perfect wedding timeline for the couple and season of wedding. I love timeline help so much that I offer a tool in your client portal (provided after booking) for us to create the best timeline for you. You're very well supported throughout the wedding photography planning process. 

How many weddings do you typically photograph per year? 
I generally accept 18-20 weddings per year to ensure all of our couples receive exceptional attention to detail and the best care throughout the wedding photography experience. 

Will I receive digital and film images?
I photograph weddings on full frame digital cameras, full format 120 film cameras and 35mm cameras. For my nostalgic and art loving clientele, they will build a hybrid wedding collection that includes both digital and film images in their final gallery.  

Turnaround, Timelines & Film Phtography 

Do you offer prints and albums? Are they included in my package?
We offer a wide range of print and album choices to all of our clients or couples with a print release. Albums are a gorgeous way to have your day preserved in a luxurious, high end album. If artwork or albums are something you are interested in, we will schedule a meeting with our Album Designer & Print Specialist, Abby to review which options are the best for you. 

Do you provide or sell RAW digital files?
This is not something we are offering at this time.

Can I purchase my film negatives when I add on film coverage?
Yes there are collections where film negatives will be delivered to you for safekeeping. 

What other types of photography do you enjoy?

Do you offer videography?
While videographers and photographers use a lot of the same equipment, we find it beneficial to specialize and perfect our craft in one genre. We are happy to refer you to other incredibly talented videographers that feel the same way and are amazing to work with here.

We would like a second shooter at our wedding. Is this possible?
I have an incredible team of second shooters and film assistants. All wedding coverage is fully customizable to your specific needs.

How far in advance do you accept weddings?
Once your wedding date is finalized, please inquire. On average we are booking 12-18 months in advance for more detailed weddings. 

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes I find destination weddings inspiring and energizing! I accept 3-6 international destination weddings per year. I am regularly in Mexico and Italy for destination weddings and personal travel.

I live and primarily serve Ottawa and surrounding areas like Prince Edward County and Kingston couples and families looking for timeless film and digital photography.

Will you hold our date?
All commissioned agreements are only final once you have signed the contract and paid the non-refundable retainer. Dates are not held.

When do we schedule our engagement session?
Once your contract is signed and retainer is paid, we will send you a list of available engagement session date options as well as location suggestions.
Engagement sessions take place on weeknights as weekends are reserved for our wedding clients. The session time will be an hour to an hour and a half prior to sunset. I will provide you with the time depending on the date you choose.

I would just like to plan a simple elopement downtown Ottawa. How far in advance should we book?
Elopement sessions are 3 hours, generally scheduled for a weeknight. You will receive film and digital coverage of your ceremony, family portraits and newlywed portraits around Ottawa's most iconic and picturesque locations. Elopement sessions can be booked anytime, based on availability.
