Planning a wedding during a pandemic can be a challenge but Sarah and Paul did an incredible job alongside their creative team to execute a wedding day straight out of a fairytale. We just loved being a part of their Fairmont Chateau Laurier wedding – it was so full of joy and laughter!

Sarah and Paul chose mid-October for their wedding, which is a beautiful time of year in Ottawa. The ceremony itself took place at the breathtaking Notre Dame Cathedral, packed with history and beautiful architecture dating all the way back to 1842. In the heart of the city of Ottawa, they exchanged emotionally packed vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. Following the ceremony, we took the opportunity to maximize the couple’s portrait time in the heart of our beautiful city with the iconic Fairmont Chateau Laurier as our backdrop.

The elegant decor inspiration was cohesively executed throughout their reception space featuring tall candelabra centrepieces, soft floral arrangements and romantic candlelight. Sarah and Paul’s wedding day was the perfect mixture of elegance and history combining two very close knit families.
