Katie and Mitch’s countryside Stonefield Estate wedding this summer was absolutely breathtaking! Their day blended relaxed vintage farm house aesthetic with the whitewashed ceremony house. The views were endless overlooking the sprawling countryside on the outskirts of Ottawa, Ontario.
Their big day was full of sophisticated details, with soft and lush florals, blending in a mixture of Jewish traditions. Lauren Sinclair with Sinclair & Co. Design meticulously took care of every detail from the floral installation around the Chuppah, to wrapping the mother of the bride’s old wedding gown fabric around Katie’s bridal bouquet. There was no cultural or family heirlooms left untouched which made for a truly emotional sentiment for the newlyweds.
Immediately after the ceremony, the excited couple walked together hand in hand back up the aisle as husband and wife while their family and friends lovingly cheered for them. While their guests enjoyed mingling with mixed drinks and gourmet canapés, we toured the extensive grounds photographing these love birds everywhere. Everywhere from the open fields, strolling down Stonefields Estate’s picturesque pathways to the iconic Loft reception barn. The possibility for portrait locations on site are endless!
We always adore working with such kind, relaxed couples and Kate and Mitch were definitely no exception! They are just the most genuine and admirable people who truly were present and enjoyed every part of their day, making our job as photographers so easy!
