Welcome to our blog where we share everything from recent weddings and engagements, to our amazing adventures as a family of four. When we aren’t photographing weddings, our family is traveling the world, decorating our new home in Ottawa, Ontario or snuggled up watching movies with our basset hound, Georgia. We love working with joyous couples and absolutely cannot wait to tell your story!

Never have I ever visted a place where I immediately felt like this is where I was meant to be. Everything about the Cotswolds felt like home. It is everything that I am trying to create for my family in Canada. I wish I could pinpoint just one thing that made it feel so special to me but it truly felt straight out of a childhood dream. From the slow paced life with focus on quality foods, community, and rich history it felt wholesome. They romantisize their daily lives which felt refreshing in a world that seems to be hyperfocused on the negative. The personalized cottage names with the lush English gardens bursting with my favourite blooms at every turn fed my creative soul. I was smitten. A week was certainly not enough and I will surely be back.

Cotswolds, United Kingdom Will Always Have My Heart

January 20, 2023

My husband and I have been married for twelve years already. Over the past few years, we’ve decided that we’d rather celebrate with one another over new experiences rather than exchanging gifts. By doing this, we’ve created some really magical memories both together by ourselves and with our children. This year was a little different […]

While attending The Hybrid Collective conference in San Diego, California I had the opportunity granted to me by Richard Photo Lab to experiment with the Contax 645 film camera. Inspiration Is Everywhere…And This Is Where I Find Mine

When I was 19, I wasn’t looking for my forever relationship. I was happily enjoying adventures with friends, focusing on my studies and soaking in family time.  But then, my future husband walked into my life.  Life has such a funny way of surprising you! He was so sweet, incredibly shy and had a heart […]

My Real Life 2008 Wedding Day And The One I’d Plan in 2020

February 23, 2020

Our family Christmas might look a little unusual to some. We don’t put up a Christmas tree or overly decorate our house. It seems a little silly to do the traditional things both my husband and I grew up doing since we are the first to hop on a plane to head out on our […]

Living life as a photographer has given me a unique perspective on many things, from business to art. But most of all, it’s given me a greater perspective on how to live well.  As the person tasked with preserving some of the most important moments in my clients’ lives, I’ve had the chance to seriously […]
