It was love at first sight for Jessy and Melinda. Melinda shares their love story below:
Jessy walked into the gym one day wearing neon green shorts; I spotted him as I was climbing on the stair machine, and he spotted me, too. In his words, “The sun was beaming down on you like an angel.” His friend left a note with the front desk with his Instagram handle and a note that said, “Jessy has a school boy crush on you.” The rest is history. The proposal was December 30. I was blindfolded and brought to the rooftop of Brookstreet Hotel. I was greeted with 30 dozen roses lining an aisle with fairy lights, an arch full of pictures of us throughout the years and gold foil letter balloons that said, ‘MARRY ME’. Despite being blindfolded, my brain did not register what was happening and I cried instantly when I saw Jessy standing at the end waiting for me.

When Christina and Rob first connected on a dating app, little did they know they would be engaged in Hawaii within the year. Rob being a traditional man made sure to seek permission from Christina’s parents before jet-setting to Hawaii to propose next to Waimoku Falls. They knew early on in their relationship they’d spend […]

We’re dreaming of sweet Canadian maple syrup and the warm atmosphere of a rolling fire after this snowy wedding at the Temples Sugar Bush in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Lavender sessions are one of my favourite backdrops each summer. Tetiana expressed how she was searching for a laid back, floral inspired engagement session. I knew the lavender fields in Prince Edward County would be a perfect fit, especially paired with her beautiful summery, yellow dress! The morning of the session was calling for rain. […]

We’ve all marveled at the most glorious photos wedding photographers have to offer. They paper their homepages, coat their experience pages and fill their Instagram feeds. They are the most beautiful examples of the work these talented photographers can do, and they are the images we look at when deciding whether or not to book […]

Who doesn’t enjoy a good love story? I know I love all of the cheesy rom-com movies and swoon over an elderly couple still just as in love as they were when they got married decades ago. Needless to say, I just needed to know how Tony popped a question that would alter their lives […]

I just loved being a part of Jessica and Josh’s Spring Strathmere wedding – it was so full of joy, laughter and happy tears! And being able to photograph all of the gorgeous details whether it was Strathmere’s picturesque grounds or the floral invitation suite created by Jessica was a treat as well. Jessica and […]
